A twice a day, free online salon, focused on connecting over exciting thoughts, motivations, research and projects, COVID-19, and beyond. We’ll have a dedicated speaker or a prompt, plenty of time to chat, break-out into groups and connection over online coffee and drinks. Let’s make this a time to have more community, not less!
How it works: We’ll experiment with meeting twice a day (9-10 am PT to allow Europe & co to join, 6-7 pm PT to allow Asia & co to join) in this Zoom Room:Â http://bit.ly/foresightsanitypreserver.
On Monday, 9 am PT, we’ll kick-off the salons with Jaan Tallinn on Existential Risk Opportunities from COVID-19.Â
Jaan is a co-founder of the Centre for the Study of Existential Risk in Cambridge, UK as well as the Future of Life Institute in Cambridge, MA. He is also a founding engineer of Kazaa and Skype.Â
We have a great line-up already: Please check out the program for the following weeks, share it with folks in Europe, Hong Kong, etc. who we may not be able to reach, and apply to speak on a topic of your choice.
